Live Satsang Soul Circle 7/13/25 - Ananda - Your Joy Is Not A Betrayal. In today's Satsang we explore that friction some of us are experiencing between engaging in our own joy while others are sufferings, our privilege and joy as resistance. Juicy stuff here and in the shares that follow the dharma talk.

Journal Prompts for deeper contemplation:
1) What stories do I carry about guilt?
2) Where have I been shrinking my joy out of fear it would seem inappropriate or I'd be judged harshly by others (or myself)?
3) How might my joy serve the world, rather than betray it?
4) How can I use the gifts I have — my privilege, my light — to uplift others?
5) When I notice suffering in the world, how do I feel about my own moments of joy? Do I allow them, or do I shut them down? Why?
6) What stories have I inherited about joy? That it’s selfish? That it’s earned? That it must be hidden?
7) How does my privilege make me feel — guilty, grateful, responsible, confused? How could I frame it differently? What actions/activism could I devote energy to instead of guilt?
8) What are three simple ways I can foster joy in my daily life — even while staying present to the suffering of others?
9) How might I let my joy be a source of service, rather than something I hoard or hide?
