Elemental Yoga to remind us that as it is in the macrocosm, so it is in the microcosm. I offer this practice during a month we are studying our ability to protect and preserve ourselves. Our big, complex human brains enable so many amazing things in the world. One thing they also do is create an illusion that we are not of nature so we write our own rules, usually to our detriment. This practice is a chance to remember you are of Nature. Nature moves in cycles and rhythms and in balance. As humans, we often override that and find ourselves in a situation where we have to re-learn how to protect and preserve ourselves!
