Live Asana 9/14/25 - Attachment + Aversion practice with special guest Kathryn Budig!
Join my beloved friend Kathryn and I in this flow practice that intends to support your relationship with equanimity, that space between the grip of attachment and the repulsion of aversion. We do postures that many people love that feel "good" and postures that many people don't love and feel "hard". And in them all we seek to find that space of noticing the attachment/aversion arise and try to come back to our center where we remember all things are impermanent. The yoga mat can be a fantastic place to train up our ability to have a feeling, but not get hooked in it, including when people disappoint us with their behavior!
Time stamps:
0:00-3:30 - Story time about yoga posing at the Hermanos Gutierrez concert
3:30-6:30 - Intro to class theme
6:30-End - Practice + gratitude

Sweet Simplicity was inspired by those times of excess, when everything feels complicated and we just yearn for something in our lives to be basic and simple.

Yoga For A Busy Day
On our busiest days, often the first things to go are the self-care practices that ground us.
We might think, “I don’t have time today”
That’s why I think it’s essential to have some shorter practices to keep you committed and consistent.
This practice is that, short but still complete with j...
