Live Asana 4/16/23
Shoulders+Arms+Wrists • 16-Apr-2023
Live Asana 4/16/23 - A more workshop style practice breaking down chatturanga, side arm balance and variations (vasisthasana) and crow (bakasana). Progressions and exercises for each are included for you to experience the poses in an integrated and more sustainable way. I also include some possible benefits of these poses so they may feel valuable enough to you to persevere in embodying.
This practice may also be beneficial to yoga asana teachers who want to make these poses and/or their progressions more accessible or meaningful.

Good Day Sunshine
While we can’t control the sun in the sky, we CAN affect the sunshine within us.
This practice with heart openers, side body stretches, a little bit of obliques core and some well-timed hip openers will help you amplify the light within to boost YOUR mood and that of the people you interact with...
I think grounded heart openers are the perfect blend of centering and uplifting energy.
Through shoulder and side body stretches and grounded but expansive standing poses and approachable backbends, we’ll aim to liberate the 360 degree space of our heart centers both physically and energetically.
